Start the new year with an house that’s minimized

We’re at it again. 😀
Now you may be thinking…if you’re traveling you don’t have much stuff, do you? That’s right! But still ‘our house’ is filling up again and again.
The intention is that if something is added, then something often has to go. But sometimes… theory and practice do not match and we leave with several extra big shoppers with… with what actually?

Is your house also filling up again so quickly?

Are you free these days? Look at a cupboard or shelf every now and then and it will clear up your house and mind wonderfully!

We are see more and more how little you need.
  1. At first we had a suitcase for each person containing all the seasons, a separate suitcase full of our shoes and a big shopper with coats. (and a long time ago I went to Greece with the same suitcase for 2 weeks and I could barely close it :D)
  2. Last year we managed to get all the shoes and jackets in everyone’s suitcase.
  3. And this week we managed to go from 6 suitcases to 4 suitcases (kids share a suitcase) and our shoes and jackets in 2 big shoppers! We empty and fold those shoppers when we arrive (you don’t fold a suitcase). And now we can add other things in our suitcases… because we made them emptier!

Oh yes, and then we have our homeschooling/games/craft/book suitcase that has grown explosively, because we needed an extra suitcase for that! But now… we are back on track with 1 suitcase Hurrah!

Happy you – happy others

The great thing is… you are a kilo lighter and you can make others happy with your nice, handy, nice things! We now also have many bags ready and waiting to be given away. There are so many people who could really use that!

Does it inspire you already?

Than we have one more nice blog from a year ago for you, with a more biblical perspective. And go for it!
Have fun!
