Not my will, but yours be done

Where have you all been?
Are you still going abroad?
If I were you I would go abroad.
When we meet new people they often ask these questions.
But dear people, when you have given your life to God, it is not about where you want to go, but where you need to be!
Of course there are people everywhere who do not know God, people with difficulty and sadness, people who need encouragement, prayer or healing, but God knows better than anyone where to go, when to go and to whom to go.
So…yes, we really want to go abroad, but now we have to be in Zoetermeer where we as humans do not want to be at all.
What do you do then?
Are you listening to your ‘yes but I want…’?
Or are you obedient to what the Lord of your life asks of you?
If you don’t want that, ask yourself to what extent you have given your life to Him…

This example is about our lives, but this applies to many facets of your life.
Your job, hometown, house, church, which life partner. It’s also in the little things, that you actually know that you should visit someone to help, pray for someone or send a card or something like that, but you don’t feel like doing that and would rather do something else.
Do you recognize that?
To what extent are you and do you want to be obedient to God?
Sometimes you will have to take steps that are not very comfortable or exciting.
What I can assure you is that if you do that, you will see God’s greatness through you.
How cool is that?!🙃
